System of Care: Improving Access to Mental Health
Services for Youth and Families Indiana is actively working to improve the access
to and quality of behavioral and mental health services for youth and families
through the adoption of a System of
Care (SOC)
strategy across the state. The Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) Division of Mental
Health and Addiction (DMHA) is
working to help every county in Indiana establish a local System of Care
governance board. Join us for this free presentation and discussion about the
overall purpose and current efforts of the Grant County System of Care.
Attendees will learn about efforts to:
-
promote local collaboration
to provide access to needed services and resources through one central access
point;
-
bring awareness to trauma
informed care and the impact of trauma on children; and
-
bridge service gaps between local
agencies through communication and
coordination.
